Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Reading a page, submitting a search, or otherwise continuing on the site indicates acceptance. If you disagree with any condition, stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no connection to St. Francois County, the State of Missouri, or another government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other FCRA-regulated decisions. Its purpose is to identify criminal-record resources in St. Francois County and Missouri. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It neither stores official criminal records nor files documents, retrieves official files, or performs official checks for a visitor.

Its pages identify St. Francois County custodians, Missouri courts, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, the Missouri Sex Offender Registry, and optional outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, Missouri, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harass another person
  • Use site content for credit, employment, housing, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Deploy scraping, bot, or other automated access tools
  • Interfere with performance or prevent access by other visitors

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information reached here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Missouri registry information is provided for public-safety awareness. Using Missouri Sex Offender Registry data to facilitate a crime is illegal, and registry content never authorizes vigilantism or other misuse.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer, credit, or background reports. The website and its advertising partners do not provide regulated screening services. Site or linked-tool information may not be used to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a housing or rental application
  • Set credit or insurance eligibility or terms
  • Determine access to a license, permit, or government benefit
  • Carry out another purpose governed by the FCRA

A regulated purpose requires an authorized official channel or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA. This website cannot supply that product.

5. No Legal Advice

The content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot decide how a St. Francois County charge, conviction, warrant, or Missouri expungement rule affects a particular person. Seek advice from a licensed Missouri attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is" without a guarantee that:

  • Any detail is complete, correct, or current
  • The website will remain continuously available
  • Pages are free from defects or security weaknesses
  • An outside search result is complete or correctly matched

Criminal records change as charges are filed, amended, dismissed, closed, or expunged. Gaps and delays can occur. No page should be treated as an official statement from a Missouri court, sheriff, or agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to government offices, court portals, state agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Those destinations are independently controlled. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, prices, or availability. Review the destination’s terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, logos, graphics, and code belong to St. Francois County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative work requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the website or reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, and proceedings arising from your use of the website or violation of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the website must be brought in a court located in Missouri.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version takes effect when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, with or without notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected language will be limited only as much as necessary.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be sent through the Contact page.
