Need an Official Record?
Use the following St. Francois County and Missouri channels for official records:
- Court case files: use criminal court case records or contact the 24th Judicial Circuit clerk at the St. Francois County Courthouse, 1 N. Washington St., Farmington
- Criminal histories and rap sheets: contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division and use MACHS
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the St. Francois County Sheriff and jail at 1550 Doubet Road, Farmington, (573) 756-3252 or (573) 431-2777, weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Official Missouri checks: order through MACHS Name Search or the MACHS Fingerprint Search Portal
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement and record sealing: file with the court that heard the case
The county courthouse is at 1 N. Washington St., Farmington, MO 63640. The St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney in Suite 101 accepts its own Sunshine requests and answers (573) 756-1955. Certified court copies must come from the clerk, while sheriff incident and booking files belong at the Doubet Road office.
